Become a Live in Carer
If you are kind, caring, passionate about helping others to live as independently as possible
while respecting peoples dignity and right to choose, we can offer successful applicants a
very rewarding role with plenty of job satisfaction.
The position requires you to live with the client in their own home, where
a suitable room will be provided for you. It is often more of a companionship role where on average you
would expect to work between 10 and 12 hours, normally with a couple of hours break during the day.

Below is an example of an individuals care package (but please remember the needs of each individual are quite different):
- Morning – Assistance getting up and out of bed, washing and dressing, preparing breakfast, prompt or assist with medication, assistance with toileting and some general household tasks.
- Day time – Prepare meals and drinks. Prompt or assist with medication, provide companionship, outings and assist with some household tasks.
- Evening – Prepare a meal or light snack and drink, prompt or assist with medication, companionship and help getting ready and into bed.
